This blog contains random posts about various issues I came across so far in IT. The purpose of this blog is to remind myself how I solved this or the other problem. I will post solutions I found useful so far, and I might post some code when I feel it could help someone.
Most posts will deal with systems I’m used to – that is Linux (mainly CentOS), PHP, MySQL, PostgreSQL, Javascript, Ajax, VisualForce, Filemaker Script, Objective C (or iOS apps related issues in general) etc.
Since I live in Japan, some of my posts will deal with Japanese character related issues, that is, multi-byte character support.
